Job summary Healthcare Support Worker HMP Woodhill The post holder would be expected to participate in the administration of medication, responding to emergencies and assisting in the delivery of primary care services that are equitable to that in the community. The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. Main duties of the job An inpatient facility accommodates up to 11 prisoners with a range of mental and physical health needs and the healthcare assistants provide a valued role in this area. Previous experience of working in a secure setting would be an advantage but a full induction and training programme is provided.
