Plus, you'll lead a talented, tight-knit procurement team along the way Your Mission: Relationship Management: Act as the conductor in a symphony of communication, ensuring our relationships with telecom giants like BT Wholesale, Openreach, and Virgin Media remain harmonious. Open dialogue? Check. Mutually beneficial outcomes? Double check Vendor Strategy : Familiar with names like Cisco, Extreme, and Fortinet? Youll be the maestro behind the scenes, aligning strategies with our core vendors and distribution partners for maximum impact and innovation. Value Optimisation: From Service Now to Oracle Netsuite, you'll be theprocurementexpert in extracting maximum value from our critical systems and infrastructure suppliers. Youll ensure procurement efficiency and hold our suppliers to the highest standards. Innovation & Integration: Got an eye for spotting new vendor opportunities? Youll bring fresh partners into the mix, gain leadership buy-in, and seamlessly integrate changes across departments. Collaborative Leadership: Teamwork is key. Youll collaborate closely with teammates to enhance commercial efficiency, drive continuous improvement, and optimise procurement channels for maximum impact. Your KPIs: Supplier Excellence: Maintain and improve supplier performance while driving efficiency through financial incentives. Cost Management: Slash third-party overhead costs like a pro. Risk Mitigation: Ensure supplier SLA adherence stays above 95%, stepping in as the ultimate trouble-shooter when needed. Insight & Reporting: Engage with tier-one suppliers weekly and deliver monthly commercial insights to senior leadership. What Youll Bring: Significant experience in similar roles managing procurement & vendor relationships, ideally within the telecoms/tech sectors. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced SME environment. Experience of managing a small team. Professional qualifications are preferred but not mandatory. Ideally, familiarity with Cisco partner programs (or equivalent for Extreme, Fortinet, Forescout) and Ofcom legislation.
