Experience as a cover supervisor or teaching assistant is preferred, but we welcome those considering teaching as a career, provided you are a quick learner. Professional development opportunities are provided to upskill your practise too Roles and Responsibilities include: Class supervision Small group tutoring Interventions, Possibly online learning. The suitable Educator would have one or more of the following: Level 4 HLTA qualification and/or Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certification. Specialized SEN training (e.g., Autism, Dyslexia, Makaton). Experience in SEN settings, working with students with a range of needs (e.g., ASD, physical disabilities, learning difficulties). Behaviour management skills and experience supporting challenging behaviours. Ability to help create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Emotional intelligence, patience, flexibility, and resilience. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including teachers and therapists. Experience in parental engagement and communication. Commitment to ongoing professional development in SEN-related fields.
