An established and respected law firm in South Manchester is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded partner, supporting on a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions.
The Role:
You will play a key supporting role in the conveyancing process, working closely with a partner on a busy caseload of residential property matters. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties to progress transactions
* Carrying out Land Registry and property searches
* Managing files from instruction to post-completion
* Handling telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally
* Ensuring accurate file management and compliance with firm procedures
Ideal Candidate:
* At least 2 years’ experience in a similar conveyancing assistant role
* Confident working within a fast-paced conveyancing team
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Proficient in using conveyancing case management systems
* A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach
