Electronics Engineer - Cambridgeshire - £45,000 - £60,000 pa
A global manufacturer in the Automotive industry is looking for an Electronics Engineer to join their R&D team. After already having major growth in 2024, they still have an excellent project pipeline and more growth plans for 2025. You will be designing the Electronics Hardware for leading products used in the Motorsport & Commercial vehicles sectors.
Responsibilities:
1. Development of Electronics System Architecture, adhering to automotive industry standards and processes
2. Analogue & Digital Circuit design, testing, analysis & documentation
3. Hardware debugging, testing, validation & verification
4. Design documentation
Key Skills/Experience:
1. HND/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
2. PCB design & layout
3. Analogue & Digital Electronic Design & Simulation
4. Electronics test & prototyping
5. Hardware debugging
6. Engineering documentation
7. Microcontrollers & Peripherals
8. Communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet etc.)
Any of the following is nice to have/desirable:
1. Experience in the automotive industry
2. Knowledge or experience with regulated environments and associated standards
3. Reliability analysis/FMEA
4. DFM (Design for Manufacture)
5. Design for EMC
6. Software design for test development
