An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing, well-established B-Corp financial planning firm based in Worcester. The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic role for a detail-oriented and ambitious Paraplanner who thrives in a collaborative, office-based environment. Working as part of the technical team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Financial Planners, ensuring outstanding client outcomes while meeting regulatory and compliance obligations. Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Meeting Preparation: Compile comprehensive review packs within agreed SLAs.
2. Report Writing: Draft high-quality client reports and recommendation letters.
3. Technical Research: Conduct detailed investment, retirement, and protection product research using internal tools and PROD.
4. Cashflow Planning: Support advisers with financial forecasting and scenario analysis.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCA regulations and ensure all recommendations align with best practices.
6. Client Record Management: Update and maintain records on Intelligent Office (IO) and SharePoint.
7. Administrative Support: Prepare advice packs, application forms, and liaise with providers to obtain necessary information.
About You:
1. Minimum of 2 years experience in paraplanning, technical report writing, or financial planning support.
2. Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards Chartered Status).
3. Strong knowledge of investments, pensions, protection products, and risk profiling.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
5. A proactive, organised, and methodical approach, capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
6. A growth mindset and strong work ethic, with a passion for learning and continuous development.
7. A commitment to ethical finance, sustainability, and community engagement.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and financial planning software.
