Responsibilities
1. Provide support and assistance to program participants in all areas related to gaining and/or retaining employment and career advancement.
2. Assist individuals affected by the opioid epidemic in securing and maintaining occupations that will provide both a living wage and a solid direction forward.
3. Support the delivery of in-location workshops and career services at recovery centers and community agencies throughout the county.
4. Build a professional one-on-one working relationship with participants to aid in addressing barriers to obtaining and retaining employment, including assessment, individualized attention, and coordination consistent with the principles of trauma-informed care.
5. Provide Career Coaching including the completion of the Individual Employment Plan (IEP), WIOA eligibility, CASA’s, and Career Mapping to enrolled participants.
6. Responsible for participation tracking and monitoring data entry into CWDS in accordance with activity codes and barrier identification and resolution.
7. Accurately complete required documentation for WIOA enrollment.
8. Assist in the preparation of weekly project reports (participation, placement, etc.).
9. Create and maintain an environment that promotes opportunities for customers to hope for the future, accept themselves, and provides tools for facing adversity.
10. Provide referred customers with information on recovery-friendly employers in the region.
11. Ensure record keeping of all customer outreach and contacts through internal tracking systems.
12. Support program activities by assisting with community outreach, traveling to provide in-person workshops at partner locations as needed.
13. Provide consistent and comprehensive case management and follow-up.
14. Provide individualized assessment of work, family, and personal development needs and opportunities.
15. Provide referrals to appropriate community service or social service agencies when needed.
16. Maintain organized database of clients and keep detailed documentation of all contacts with clients.
17. Coordinate participant post-exit retention services and accommodate participant work schedules.
18. Document all participant contacts and activities in case notes and ensure that post-placement contacts are made as required by specific contract.
19. Share information with appropriate staff and/or funding agencies.
20. Maintain participant files as specified by contractor.
21. Ensure participants follow through with planned activities as outlined in contract with funding agency.
22. Ensure that positive outcomes and goals are met as required by contract.

Qualifications
1. Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts.
2. Demonstrated telephone, computer, and written communication skills.
3. Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor require.
4. College degree or equivalent experience required.
5. Trauma-informed care training required.
6. Social Work degree or equivalent preferred.
7. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
8. Valid Driver’s License, vehicle, and clean driving record required.
