Wakefield Growing Healthy 0-19 Service is looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, experienced Health Visitors who want to lead and support the training of our Health Visitors of the future.
Joining our team, you will deliver the Healthy Child Programme to families across the district of Wakefield. Working in partnership, come and help us to ensure positive outcomes for our children and families. We follow the key principles of the Best Start in Life and successfully support integrated working and learning with our Wakefield Families Together partners. Being a high-performing team, we are looking for qualified health visitors to lead our skill mix team and help us train the health visitors of the future while supporting families across the district of Wakefield in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme.
Main duties of the job
* Delivering the Healthy Child Contacts.
* Leading and supporting the skill mix team.
* Supporting students.
* Working in partnership with Wakefield Families Together and the Children's Hubs.

Person specification
Experience and qualifications must be qualified at time of application
* NMC Registered as a health visitor.
* Recent Experience of providing the Healthy Child Programme.
* Experience working with children, families, and community partnership working.
Qualified Health Visitor
* Clear understanding of Public Health Role, and qualified Health Visitor with experience.
Employer certification / accreditation badges
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
