Purpose of this role: Help implement and support a complex IP migration programme. Duties will include configure and deploy network and computing components. Responsibilities: Supports the implementation of technical solutions and deliver on the resolution of inter-system issues, working within cross-functional squads to assist in creating and implementing technical solutions for a domain or cross domain activity. Execution of technical decisions, technology choices and architecture for a wide range of high-performance products and capabilities. Support with the designs of technical specifications and development of software solutions of smaller and/or less complex Assists with planning and monitoring of all activities, from scoping to live, to ensure agreed scope and benefits are delivered in a contained project. Maintains systems by monitoring and correcting software Skills Required: Knowledge of Linux operating system with Basic command line knowledge for interacting with servers, e.g. Bash, etc. Cisco CLI – Configuration & troubleshooting skills. IP networking fundamentals including device roles and subnets, management and installation of devices. Troubleshooting IT security management Awareness of agile methodologies Desirable Skills: Windows Server knowledge such as AD, DNS, server management Oracle database knowledge, e.g. SQL, PL/SQL, administration CISCO accreditation Please note candidates should be eligible to undergo SC Clearance
