About the role:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and fairness of the examination process. You will be responsible for preparing examination venues, supervising candidates during exams, and ensuring that all exam regulations are followed meticulously. Your presence will help create a secure and orderly environment where students can perform to the best of their abilities.
Key responsibilities:
* Setting up examination venues in accordance with established procedures.
* Supervising candidates before, during, and after examinations, ensuring compliance with exam regulations.
* Assisting candidates with seating and providing guidance on allowed materials.
* Vigilantly monitoring the exam room to prevent cheating and handle any irregularities.
* Collecting and collating exam scripts, ensuring they are handled securely and according to protocol.
* Supporting candidates with special requirements, such as providing assistance as a scribe or reader.

* Prior experience working in an educational setting or in a role that requires strict adherence to procedures.
* Basic IT skills and an understanding of safeguarding and health and safety practices.
