We are recruiting for an Asset Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of marine equipment assets. This role involves overseeing the transportation and on going maintenance of critical components, ensuring equipment availability and reliability.
The Asset Manager will develop and execute maintenance programs, work closely with engineering and maintenance teams, and coordinate with commercial teams to manage parts distribution and availability effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Asset Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement long-term asset management strategies to optimize the performance and lifecycle of marine equipment.
* Work with procurement teams to source and manage spare parts, ensuring cost efficiency and availability.
* Create structured maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational needs.
* Coordinating and owning the full transport and movement of the assets
* Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize equipment repairs and servicing.
* Work closely with commercial teams to manage parts rollout, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
* Ensure all assets are maintained in line with regulatory and safety requirements, minimizing operational risks.
* Track asset performance using KPIs and data-driven insights to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective asset utilization without compromising performance.
* Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, maintenance, commercial, and procurement teams to align asset management strategies with business goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering or relevant field.
* Strong technical expertise and project management ,understanding of marine equipment lifecycle management, procurement processes, and maintenance planning.
* Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and inventory management related to spare parts and critical components.
* Experience working with engineering and maintenance teams to schedule and plan servicing.
* Ability to analyze asset performance data and implement continuous improvement strategies.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
