Various hours available- Weekdays (Mon-Fri)- 7.30am-8.30am/ 4.30pm-7pm / 7pm-11pm.
Weekends (Sat-Sun)- 7am-7pm / 7pm-11pm. Hours can be negotiated upon interview.

ABOUT THE ROLE
I am a young 18-year-old gentlemen who lives at home with my family. I have a condition called Lowe Syndrome with Fanconi Syndrome, which means that I have a number of complex needs including Epilepsy. I am nonverbal which can make communication difficult. I am looking for team of Personal Assistants with a caring, patient nature to join my team and get to know me, understanding my complex needs and ways of communicating as well as respecting my family homes. I live between my Mum & my Dad’s homes, where I have all of my care needs catered for at both addresses and you would be required to work at both addresses.
You will be supported to get to know my unique set of requirements, covering all aspects of personal and medical care supporting with PEG feeding, Respiratory needs, medication, epilepsy care, mobility and communication, as well as simply getting to know me at my own pace and supporting me to remain happy and safe.
You will be required to get to know myself and the team- through meetings, shadowing, and a bespoke training programme. You will receive all mandatory training and specialised training annually.
ABOUT YOU
You will need to be a calm, friendly and fun, flexible and unphased by my health needs and situations which you may need to support me with.
I require 2:1 evening support to ensure I remain safe and well throughout, supporting my overnight staff member with my bedtime routines and attending to my complex needs, understanding how to respond quickly and effectively to my seizure activity.
