We are currently recruiting for our Networks (Comm Prop) team in our Geldards Nottingham office. This is a unique role based within a niche and exciting area of practice, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a large national client.
This role is an opportunity to work as a Paralegal who has a real impact on the wider team and the clients that we work with. Based in a supportive and collaborative team of Paralegals, supported by solicitors of all levels (including our fantastic Partner Jay Atubra) you will have the chance to take full responsibility for a caseload, interact directly with the client and take on the challenge of working a file throughout the file lifecycle, from opening to closure.
Due to the importance that this team places on teamwork and support, the role is based in the office Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm) to allow you the opportunity to make the most of the team around you, and work in a more collaborative environment. This means that you get a chance to kick start your career surrounded by like-minded individuals with a variety of social events and gatherings to get involved in.

Department Networks - CIC Employment Type Permanent - Full Time Location Nottingham Workplace type Onsite Reporting To Jay Atubra
Duties include:
* Processing conveyancing procedures related to client matters using the Case Management System with guidance from Team Manager and other colleagues, through to completion.
* Liaising with clients in a number of ways, particularly over the phone to build long lasting working relationships with the client.
* To deal courteously and promptly with any instructions or queries arising.
* To prepare any relevant legal documentation relating to the transaction.
* Be prepared to gain an understanding of client specific structures and working practices.
* Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade and post.
What you will need:
* Law Degree.
* Always work in a cross-functional manner as is necessary to meet the Company goals.
* Excellent communication and organisation skills.
* Ability to manage large caseload and to work under pressure with high attention to detail.
* Strong team player with the ability to use initiative and be self-motivated.
* Good personal organisation skills and ability to adhere to time limits and prioritise work.
* Ability to project a professional image and to deal confidently with clients.

* 35 hour working week - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
