We are looking for a Junior Projects Manager to join the Install team at Thermatic Technical FM. As a Thermatic Junior Project Manager you are a member of the Install team. The team’s main aim is to support clients with their mechanical installation requirements. This role will support this purpose by coordinating and working closely with project managers, overseeing the installation of projects across a number of clients. You will attend various clients sites, carry out surveys and generate site specific quotations. This role requires a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Thermatic Technical FM provide complete nationwide coverage, across the full spectrum of Hard FM services to large, commercial clients. Our team of mobile engineers are supported by the account teams at Head Office to provide both reactive breakdown and planned maintenance services to our clients. Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week. Whilst this is our company standard working week, our engineers require "out of hours" support, so an aspect of this is to be expected. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Essential: Outstanding problem-solving skills to address customer complaints or needs An updated understanding of consumer behaviour Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to deal with different customers and departments within the business Analytical skills for analysing customer data Multitasking and time management skills to manage multiple customers and tasks at the same time Advanced negotiation and motivational skills Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Desirable: CSCS IPAF SMSTS or SSSTS Technical/install experience Responsibilities include: Managing install projects from quotation, through pre-start, testing, and commissioning Ensuring projects are delivered to agree timescales Ordering all necessary equipment, materials, kits, access/lifting equipment, and arranging labour in liaison with in-house Procurement team Support technical aspects of project and find opportunities to secure further work Arranging surveys dependent upon building and location or equipment Surveying for new equipment installation Arranging access and equipment as needed Taking into account client specifications with regard to design and preferred manufacturers Instructing sub-contractors and planning labour to carry out project works Working closely with senior Project managers to learn processes and working methods Generating RAMS and enabling site set up Supporting clients nationally and attending client sites across mainland UK Attending client meetings as required Meeting with clients to discuss works to be surveyed before conducting surveys Understanding specific client specifications Controlling budgets to ensure profits are as predicted or greater Providing clear and thorough quotes to support agreed profit margins Our People We’re a business built on people and it’s the people that make us different from other companies.
