Junior Paraplanner
Location: West Malling/Maidstone
Hours: full time 9-5pm
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 + bonus and benefits
An excellent and very interesting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Paraplanner or Senior Administrator to work within a highly successful Practice based in Kent. You will be joining the team based in their Kings Hill offices.
The Practice is keen to add to their team and are looking for an ambitious individual who wants to continue to develop a long-term career in wealth management and financial services.
You may currently be a Senior Administrator looking to progress, or a Junior Paraplanner ready to expand your knowledge and experience.
The Role: Junior Paraplanner
* Working within a friendly and supportive team your role will include collating client information, product research, preparing suitability letters, illustrations and reports for client meetings.
* You will be managing cases to completion and working with internal processing systems. You will be given full training on the relevant IT systems.
* You will be providing a high level of technical and administrative support while maintaining an excellent level of customer service to clients of the Practice.
* You will be liaising with colleagues and third parties on a daily basis to achieve deadlines and progress client requests within specific timescales.
* You will always strive to produce well thought out and meaningful documentation that demonstrates your attention to detail and understanding of the clients' needs.
* You will need to ensure that the business obtained is being processed compliantly at all times.
The Person: Junior Paraplanner
* This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate, IT proficient and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and has a can-do working style.
* You may have been working as a Senior Administrator or Junior Paraplanner within financial services, ideally for a St. James's Place Partner Practice.
* Alternatively, you may have significant industry experience which you are keen to develop further.
* You may be working towards the Level 4 DipPFS qualification or equivalent, you may already hold it or have aspirations to want to become qualified in the future.
* Study and exam support needed to obtain the DipPFS qualification is available if you are not already qualified.
* You will ideally have some experience of the administration of Inheritance Tax, Pension, Protection and Investment products.
* You are highly organised, can prioritise your workload, and have excellent communication skills.
* You will have contact with clients, and it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.
