WRAP AROUND CARE VENUE LEAD
Pay Rate: £12.50 - £14 per hour
Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week (term time only)
Monday to Friday
07:15 - 09:00 Before School Club
15:00 – 18:00 After School Club
Dual role at two different schools.

Premier Education are working collaboratively with primary schools to deliver exceptional before and after school care that is innovative, inspiring and above all, a safe environment for all children in our care. Your role will be to provide activities in a safe, secure and fun environment, and providing an outstanding service for busy parents.
Premier Education successfully runs full Wraparound provision in primary schools across the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire area. Our Premier Wraparound centres are Ofsted registered and provide high quality out of school care for parents. With this in mind we are looking for an outstanding applicant with experience to lead one of our new venues.
Care will be available before school and the after-school club every Monday to Friday in term time only. There is also the possibility of involvement with other clubs running during school holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organizing places for children and ensuring fees are paid.
* Managing a small team of staff and providing a stimulating and safe environment for all children who attend.
* Liaising with members of the school's Senior Leadership Team and the Governing Body regarding the new provision.
* Planning activities to support and engage children before and after school.
* Preparing a range of activities for children to participate in during each session, both inside and out.
* Overseeing the weekly activities timetable and menus and communicating these to the parents and school.
* Running regular stock takes to ensure equipment is up to standard and replenished.
* Ensuring the ingredients required to provide healthy and nutritional snacks for the children each day are ordered and prepared.
* Replying to emails and calls from parents.
* Reporting and logging all first aid/incidents on site.
* Supporting CPD training for other staff members and devising the termly activity timetable.
* Completing and storing daily registers on site.
* Reporting back to the Wrap Around Care Manager on a daily/weekly basis.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in a Childcare environment is preferred.
* Applicants must have achieved the equivalent of a Grade C or higher in English and Mathematics at GCSE level.
* DBS certificate (required).
Desirable:
* Appropriate Level 2 (or above) qualification (Child Care related).
* Experience of working within a play-based setting.
* Experience of budgeting.
* Competent in using IT to support play and club administration.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Appropriate child protection training.
* Current 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
* Food Hygiene Certificate.
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
