Established over 100 years ago, with offices across the UK and further afield, our client is now looking for a Contract Advisor to join their team based in Smethwick. Salary is up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience, with an OTE of £1,500 per annum. You will benefit from a competitive commission scheme for new contract signings, estimated additional earnings of up to £3,000 – Total potential earnings of £32,500 per annum. This position is 70% administration and 30% on the telephone. As the Contract Advisor, your duties will include:
1. Assisting the Contracts Manager to stabilise the contract base and increase where possible
2. Entering new Service Agreements, raising preventative maintenance/calibration visits, invoicing and providing confirmation to the customer
3. Negotiating contracts and dealing with contract renewals
4. Dealing with national and key account management
5. Amending maintenance agreements as required
6. Dealing with invoice queries to contract customers
7. Carrying out other duties deemed appropriate in line with your skills and experience
As the Contract Advisor, you will have:
8. Experience working in a similar position, working within customer service or sales
9. Strong focus on quality customer service with a desire to meet and exceed customer expectations
10. Computer skills with knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel
11. A good mathematical knowledge
12. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to converse with new and existing accounts building business relationships
13. You may have experience in the following: Retention Advisor, Contract Advisor, Insurance Advisor, Customer Service Advisor, Retention Advisor, Sales Administration, Sales Order Coordinator, Hire Desk Administrator, Sales Administrator, Sales Processor, Account Manager, Business Development, Estate/Lettings Advisor or any other similar position
Working 40 hours per week, the client will be flexible with start time and finish time between the hours of 7.30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
