Job Description
Our firm is looking for two experienced Site Supervisors/ Foreman to manage construction site work projects throughout Massachusetts.
Job Summary: The Construction Site Foreman is a key position responsible for overseeing daily operations at the construction site. This role involves managing on-site personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining the quality and efficiency of construction activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction experience, and the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with sitework installations: Water lines, Sewer Lines, Drainage Pipe, Manholes Structures, Curbing, Parking Lots, and Foundation Prep, along with a track record of meeting budget targets and accomplishing projects on deadline. We are strictly a site work construction company; we do not build residential or commercial buildings.
Pay rate based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. On-Site Supervision:
o Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors on-site.
o Ensure that all work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
2. Project Execution:
o Monitor daily progress and productivity, making adjustments as needed to keep the construction project on schedule.
o Review and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
3. Safety and Compliance:
o Enforce construction safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
o Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential hazards or safety violations.
4. Quality Control:
o Inspect construction work to ensure it meets the required quality standards and adheres to project specifications.
o Address any quality issues or defects promptly and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve them.
5. Communication and Coordination:
o Serve as the primary point of contact between the construction crew and project management.
o Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
6. Material and Equipment Management:
o Monitor inventory levels of construction materials and ensure timely procurement and delivery to the site.
o Oversee the use and maintenance of construction equipment and tools.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of daily construction activities, including progress, incidents, and any issues encountered.
o Prepare and submit regular reports to project management regarding site progress, safety, and other relevant metrics.
8. Problem-Solving:
o Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction.
o Implement solutions to mitigate delays and ensure the construction project remains on track.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a construction foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.

* Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Work Environment:
* Construction site environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.
