Aftersales Manager required for a Main Dealer in New Southgate.
Salary: £60000, with OTE at £80000 (bonus based on net profit & customer satisfaction) - guarantee for the first 3 months. Company car (no fuel), private health care, and death in service. Holiday: 22 + Bank holidays (holiday increase with length of service). Hours: Mon-Fri 8-6 (we are open Sat 9-1 and this is normally covered by the service advisors, so the Aftersales Manager would only be expected to cover for holidays/emergency cover).
The position is based at New Southgate, running a very busy multi-franchise department, servicing, MOT & repairs. We have 13 technicians, 5 apprentices, a workshop controller, an on-site warranty administrator, and 5 Service advisors. We see approx. 45 customer throughputs per day.
I am looking for a Manager with comprehensive experience of operating a very busy department, preferably multi-franchise.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the Service Desk;
2. Coach and supervise the Aftersales team, ensuring targets are met;
3. Regularly review, update and implement processes to improve efficiency;
4. Resolve customer complaints and any internal Service issues;
5. Staff management including appraisals;
6. Generate and present progress reports to the senior leadership team;
7. Promote a positive work ethos within the team including good housekeeping.
Requirements:
1. Excellent organisational skills;
2. Excellent communication skills;
3. Able to demonstrate previous success in management of a Motor Trade Service/Aftersales team;
4. Ability to juggle a busy workload and also monitor the workload of the team;
5. 100% customer-focused;
6. Smartly presented;
7. Strong IT skills;
8. Target driven - keen to exceed customer expectations, company expectations, and your own personal targets;
9. Ability to adapt and implement change where necessary.
