This role is key in supporting our clients’ documentation requirements and the Quality Management Systems at Liberty Pipes (Hartlepool) Ltd. The role exists primarily to lead all quality documentation activities (preparation, generation, submittal and approval) in support of commercial orders, and secondly to provide support to the Quality Assurance function in terms of auditing support.

Requirements:
Experience within a similar field is preferred, as is a comprehensive working knowledge of the operations, inspection, non-destructive testing, typical specifications and mechanical testing associated with line pipe manufacture, but equivalent experience in heavy manufacturing would also be accepted.
The job holder shall also have awareness of typical quality assurance documentation from a manufacturing environment (e.g., Manufacturing Procedure Specification [MPS], Inspection & Test Plan [ITP] etc) and be a qualified auditor with c3 years minimum industrial experience. Auditing qualifications should focus on ISO 9001 but auditor qualifications for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 would also be considered valuable.
The successful candidate will possess a logical approach to their work with attention to detail and exemplary accuracy. Good written and oral communication skills are essential alongside being comfortable working across all Microsoft Office packages
