The job:
* Work closely with the Bar Manager to deliver a warm, friendly, and professional service to members, guests and visitors.
* Work closely with the Bar Manager to drive the bar's success, managing everything from stock to strategy.
* Lead and assist our bar and kitchen teams in daily operations, as well as during golf days and special events.
* Constantly maintain and, where necessary, improve standards of service to the satisfaction of our customers and board of directors.
* Continue to work with and build relationships we have established with our current suppliers.
* Assist with monthly stock takes if required.
* Assisting junior members of the team.
* Adhere to best practice in hygiene, health and safety.
* Maintain a happy working atmosphere.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role.
* A smart and presentable appearance.
* A kind and empathetic team member who is humble, approachable, considerate and professional with the ability to lead as required.
* Knowledge of food and beverage.
* Access to personal transportation would be helpful, as we are not located on a bus route.
