As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a vital role in managing complex cases and ensuring the effective utilization of resources to safeguard and promote the welfare of service users. You will also provide mentoring to Social Workers, contributing to the overall quality of practice within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Duty Social Worker on an 'Out of Hours' basis, providing comprehensive social work services across all client groups.
Provide professional social work knowledge and expertise to support the team through supervision, group meetings, and case reviews.
Attend court when necessary to provide expert input on sensitive cases.
Contribute to the development of new initiatives and practices within the Directorate.
Maintain awareness of changes in legislation and policies, ensuring timely implementation.
Have some understanding of working with Children with Disabilities Team
