Our client, requires a Business Development Coordinator to work at its site in Tamworth. Duties include assisting the external sales team in identifying opportunities and converting quotes to purchase orders via the CRM system, whilst obtaining site build programmes to aid the Sales and Operation Planning department.
Job Role
1. Ensuring all quotes issued are followed up in a timely manner with follow up / notes diarised.
2. Securing purchase orders, where possible, to improve conversion of quotes.
3. Helping protect margin during the negotiation process on project quotes.
4. Providing feedback salient information gathered regarding live projects to the relevant estimator and sales managers to aid close of sale.
5. Helping the implementation and adoption of the CRM system throughout the Commercial department.
6. Assisting identifying and logging projects from either Glenigans database, internet (Linked in, Website enquiries).
7. Helping train current team and future members of staff to log enquiries via the CRM system
8. Obtaining build programmes where possible to assist the Production Planning department.
9. Prioritising workload and work independently, concurrently, and accurately on multiple projects.
10. Upselling and promoting benefits and values of the market leaders BBA certified products over competitors.
