About the role
This is an entry level role which will launch your career into the world of Logistics. You will provide general administrative support to the Logistics department extending across supply chain through to the different logistical channels; Wholesale, Franchise and US.
The role will encompass the support of existing tasks within the team for example; raising sales orders, updating schedules, creating customs documents, together with taking responsibility for new tasks as the department processes evolve.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, methodical in their approach, patient and have excellent attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To support the logistics channels in raising of sales orders on the Dune ERP system (Island Pacific).
* To help create packing lists, export invoices and other necessary documentation as required by the team.
* To take responsibility for maintaining import / export data and documentation.
* To analyse logistics data as appropriate.
* To help monitor compliance within the import / export process.
* To assist in the monitoring of third party freight and logistics providers performance.
* To perform ad hoc tasks as required by the department
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
A background or awareness of supply chain / logistics is desirable, as well as experience of working with ERP systems (IP). In addition we require the following:-
* Microsoft experience
* Customer focussed
* Good communication skills
* Time management skills
