Job Description: Job Title Project Finance Location London Corporate Title Assistant Vice President Project Finance (PF) is an investment desk focused on lending to asset owners in its core industries with a particular focus on the energy transition. PF distributes some of the risk it underwrites but also has a hold book of senior debt positions. PF is an integral part of the Trade Finance and Lending (TFL) platform within the Corporate Bank. You will interact closely with others in Structuring, Syndication and Coverage teams in an intense and demanding environment. The primary duties and responsibilities would involve the focus on project financing in the infrastructure, energy and renewable sectors with a fundamentals-based background. We have implemented a Hybrid Working Model that enables eligible employees to work remotely for a part of their working time and reach a working pattern that works for them Competitive salary and non-contributory pension 30 days' holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family A range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, a Bike4Work scheme and Gym benefits The opportunity to support a wide ranging CSR programme 2 days' volunteering leave per year Your key responsibilities Coordinating the transaction origination process including the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials Supporting the structuring and executing of PF transactions across a variety of different Infrastructure & Energy (I&E) sub-sectors and across different financing styles and solutions Reading and interpreting transaction materials such as due diligence reports, as part of the credit and investment committee approval process Running complex financial models and understanding the output in relation to the transaction being undertaken Supporting syndication processes, in partnership with the Corporate Bank syndicate desk, such as through the management of investor Question & Answer processes Creating and maintaining internal risk reports and coordinating internal approval processes Your skills and experience Previous relevant experience from Project finance platform or setting is highly desirable Superior analytical aptitude and creative problem-solving abilities Ability to work as part of a team and in partnership with other parts of Deutsche Bank Excellent communication skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts into an easy to understand format Well organised, strong project management skills and attention to detail.
