Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring the efficient handling of materials and products. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Duties
1. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment for materials handling.
2. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe and efficient movement of products.
3. Perform picking and packing duties to prepare items for shipping.
4. Maintain accurate stock levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
5. Build pallets and organise stock in designated areas of the warehouse.
6. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
7. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
8. Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
9. Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
2. Counterbalance licence is required and Reach truck license preferred.
3. Experience with warehouse management systems will be considered an asset.
4. Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods is required.
