The THRIVE programme is Scotiabank's premiere rotational programme that allows undergraduate students who identify as part of one or more equity deserving groups, the opportunity to job shadowacross Global Capital Markets and Corporate Banking.
For students who are keen on pursuing a career in banking, this programme is designed to develop awareness across business lines, technical skills, and interpersonal skills. This programme provides life:long learnings by means of job shadowing, mentorship, and classroom style education.
Furthermore, successful completion of the THRIVE programme allows interns the opportunity to be considered for a return front office internship for the summer of 2026 in Global Capital Markets or Corporate Banking.
What will my responsibilities look like?
Job Shadowing:
Summer interns will have the opportunity to job shadow across Corporate Banking and Global Capital Markets. In this programme, you will learn the day:to:day across industry sectors and will have the opportunity this knowledge across projects and activities.
Mentorship:
Throughout the summer you will also benefit from a mentorship programme that pairs you with mentors from Corporate Banking, and Global Capital Markets to support your learning and answer any questions you might have You will also attend regular business line fireside talks to learn all the ins and outs of working in Corporate Banking and Global Capital Markets at Scotiabank.
Classroom:
Within the THRIVE programme, interns receive exclusive access to Wall Street Prep courses, coding training, case competitions, Bloomberg learning, and other relevant workshops to polish and develop technical skills. Following your time in the classroom, you will gain exposure to top global executives across the bank to learn from their experiences and network.
