Our expanding Client, one of the fastest growing Commercial Insurance Brokers in Scotland, is recruiting for a Commercial Account Handler.
You'll be an experienced Commercial Insurance professional and self-motivated to provide first-class service to your Clients and be looking to join a successful, busy but friendly team.
You will be able to work on a hybrid basis between your home and their office.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Broking and placement of new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments for Commercial clients
2. Analyse clients' insurance needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
3. Negotiate with underwriters and secure the most competitive premiums and coverage terms for clients
4. Preparation and distribution of market presentations and new business and renewal reports
5. Insurance cover and policy wordings comparisons
Qualifications:
To be a successful Commercial Account Handler you will demonstrate:
1. Commercial Insurance technical experience
2. A desire to develop strong Client and Insurer relationships
3. Good negotiation skills
4. The ability to support colleagues in a close team environment
5. Excellent organisational skills
