MBDA are looking for a client side Facilities Management Coordinator to support the Stevenage and UK wide facilities management teams during an unprecedented period of business growth. You will support the operational delivery of all aspects of Facilities Management, ensuring that the delivered services meet the highest standards.
Salary: Circa £35,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
You will become a valued member of a small UK wide team and deliver the coordination and administration of UK wide reporting, initiatives and compliance activities that contribute to ensuring our delivery consistently meets exceptional standards. This role could serve as a catalyst for your professional growth all within a supportive team environment.
* Respond promptly to internal customer enquiries and issues, assigning tasks to the appropriate service providers.
* Assist the FM Operations Manager in identifying and swiftly resolving H&S (Health and Safety) concerns.
* Ensure timeliness in completing actions arising from critical compliance activities like fire risk assessments, water risk assessments, DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations) assessments, and asbestos surveys.
* Proactively identify building and service improvement opportunities through structured inspections and audits across all areas of responsibility including cleaning and catering.
* Generate insightful MI reports and aid in coordinating UK-wide initiatives.
* Support the preparations of budgets and tracking expenditures.
* Carry out essential business process approvals.
* Support the Facilities Manager in any other FM related activity.
What we're looking for from you:
* Demonstrable Facilities Management Experience within a high profile environment
* IOSH Managing Safely
* Clean UK Driving Licence
* Microsoft Office suite with intermediate Excel skills
* To have achieved or be working towards IWFM Level 3 or equivalent
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage your own workload effectively
* To have achieved or working towards NEBOSH General Certificate (Desirable)
* Experience of using Planon CAFM system including report generation (Desirable)
* An awareness or mechanical and electrical systems and relevant Statutory Compliance requirements (Desirable)
