About the role
This is an exciting, varied role and a great opportunity for an IT Support Technician to progress their IT career and develop their skills. From being the first point of contact for IT issues to configuring hardware, you’ll be making a positive impact and helping your colleagues every day.
Duties will include:
* Providing first and second line support to employees via Hastoe’s IT Servicedesk, including logging tickets, taking ownership of issues and resolving where possible, and keeping customers updated on progress.
* Managing user accounts, for Active Directory, 365 and other systems.
* Setting up, maintaining and repairing hardware and software, such as computers, mobiles, tablets, desk phones, printers and other equipment.
* Checking backups, server health, automated job completion and other system checks.
* Supporting employees by providing IT guidance, inductions and training.
About you
We are looking for someone with strong technical and interpersonal skills, accompanied by a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn This is a varied role where no two days are the same – if you have the technical knowledge along with the ability to keep that personal touch (which Hastoe is known for), then we’d love to hear from you.
You will also need:
* A wide foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure gained through experience and/or qualifications; including Microsoft Windows systems, Office365, networking, hardware setup and maintenance.
* The ability to listen effectively, and use that information to analyse and solve problems.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to give our users a first-class customer service, whether in person, over the phone or in writing.
* The ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
Annual Leave: Starting at 25 days plus UK Public/Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part time) plus 1.5 days complimentary leave, along with the option to purchase additional leave.
Enhanced Pension: Hastoe's employer contributions start at 5% and are based on a matching of your own contribution level, plus 2%, up to a maximum of 8% employer contribution.
