W Talent is excited to be partnering exclusively with a multi-site manufacturing client to find a proactive, driven Production Planner for their site near Cardiff, Wales.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, profitable, and well-established company that is a true expert in its field. The senior leadership team is deeply committed to improving staff experiences and providing an engaging and rewarding workplace.\n\nThe Role:\n\nHours: 37.5 contracted hours per week\nMonday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm\nFriday: 7:00 am - 12:30 pm\n\nSalary: Up to £33,000 per annum\n\nFull-time, on-site\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDeliver and manage production planning for the site, including work orders, records, and lookaheads\nProcess production records and track bulk packing, conversions, and scrap\nCollaborate with line managers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth scheduling operations\nCoordinate stock transfers and resolve stock discrepancies\nLead cycle count scheduling and maintain stock accuracy\nSupport continuous improvement through process analysis and trend identification\nManage BOM and drawing updates with the Design team and address stock shortagesWho We're Looking For:\n\nExperience in a manufacturing factory environment is essential\nPrevious experience in Production Planning or as a Master Scheduler is essential\nA solid understanding of BOMs (Bills of Materials) and routing structures\nProficiency with Excel and other systemsWith a supportive and inspiring line manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience to take the next step in their planning career.\n\nIf you're based in South Wales and looking to join a company where you can truly thrive, we'd love to hear from you!\n\nImportant Information:\n\nApplicants must live within a daily commutable distance to the Greater Cardiff area at the time of applying\nApplicants must have full right to work in the UK at the time of application, as our client is unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future
