We are a busy service that provides a variety of support and wellbeing opportunities to adults with severe and enduring mental health needs. These include Outreach support, Accommodation support, and wellbeing opportunities in one of our three Resource Centres.
If successful, you will manage a modest team that engages with individuals who have complex needs. You will contribute to a multidisciplinary approach that includes both health and social care professionals.
You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), be able to navigate ICT systems with confidence, and possess a high level of motivation and organisation.
We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in a providing or supervising role in Social Care. Direct experience in mental health services would be desirable but is by no means essential.

You will have:
1. NVQ level 3 (or higher) in care or working towards this level, to be achieved within 18 months in post (Essential).
2. Experience of delivering frontline care including mental health support.
3. A minimum of 1-year supervisory experience in a health or social care environment.
4. Understand the concept of Recovery and its application to develop an environment and service that enhances recovery (Essential).
5. A knowledge of policies and procedures relating to social care.
6. Experience of undertaking reviews and complex risk assessments.
7. Able to evidence a person-centred approach.
8. Motivate, train and enable colleagues in order to deliver a high-quality service.
9. Excellent communication both verbal and written and an ability to liaise and work with other professionals and agencies as and when required.
10. Be able to work on own initiative, taking decisions where appropriate and reprioritise tasks when required.
This is a hybrid role where you will be based at our offices across the borough as well as the opportunity to work at other locations, complete visits and work from home.
