* Leading& managing an engineering team to deliver the functional designand definition of Electrical Power Systemsequipment
Managing the processes andreviews of technical documentation Managing associatedtechnical risks, assumptions anddependencies Providing advice onelectrical power technical aspects across a broad range ofengineeringdisciplines Engaging with customers andsuppliers to provide solutions to complexproblems Taking a leading role byguiding the team through the systems definitionprocess Providing leadership andmentoring of more junior team members to ensure the necessarycapability and skillsdevelopment
Yourskills and experiences:
* Degree qualified Electrical Engineering or equivalentEngineeringbackground
Engineering Chartership required (or equivalentexperiencedemonstrated) Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical powersystems Strong analytical and problem solvingskills Team Leadershipexperience

The Electrical PowerSystems Definition team: Workingon the UK’s next-generation SSN design that incorporates technologyfrom the UK, Australia and the United States you will be part ofthe Electrical Power team who are responsible for leading a team ofengineers in defining the system elements required to feed into thesubmarine design and build process, including design documentation,spatial modelling and build outputs.This role will provide youwith an opportunity to travel to various locations throughout theUK, including various BAE, customer and supplier sites.We offer relocation supportpackages across all Submarines roles, subject to meetingeligibility criteria.
