A Finance/Administrator position has arisen within a Primary School in Handsworth. This is your opportunity to be part of a loving school team.
To be successful in this role, you need to ensure the proper flow of office procedures and support the school by carrying out common office duties. You should have experience dealing with finance inquiries such as budget balances and processing payments. The ideal candidate would have finance experience working in a school.
You will also be liaising with local authorities and the school's headteacher. You must maintain a positive and friendly school image by acting as the first line of contact to visitors, pupils, external companies, and parents in person, online, and via telephone.
This position is a full-time role requiring you to work 5 hours a day.
The duties for the successful applicant will include:
1. Being responsible for providing a comprehensive and highly efficient admin service.
2. Dealing with inquiries from parents, students, and the general public in person and on the telephone.
3. Interacting with directors and carrying out their requests.
4. Handling queries and complaints procedures.
5. Managing a variety of tasks quickly, efficiently, and calmly.
6. Supervising other administrative staff.
7. Organizing and facilitating a variety of educational or social activities.
8. Meeting deadlines and possessing excellent organizational, administrative, and IT skills.
