*INTERNAL VACANCY*
As an Engagement and OD Consultant, the post holder will coordinate and embed all EDI elements within the organisation. They will work collaboratively across the organisation and ICS (Integrated Care Systems) and with other designated EDI Leads to maximise opportunities to ensure EDI is the golden thread in what we do.
This is a secondment post for 12 months and it will be essential to pass vital information from across the organisation to inform any policy and changes in practice.
The successful applicant will also have colleagues doing the same role in other organisations regionally and nationally to relate to and to offer and receive guidance.
Main duties of the job
* To deliver the activities, projects and programmes defining the EDI Engagement activity required to assist the EDI team and organisation.
* To manage a team member and drive delivery of a range of business initiatives and projects.
* To operate in a highly political and sensitive environment.
* To monitor, interpret and quality assure progress against deliverables that often require adjustments specifically in relation to the complex corporate business agenda, strategic goals and the business planning process.
* To develop business plans and provide expert strategic and policy advice and guidance on all areas of the required portfolio.
* To provide professional advice and expertise on all aspects of engagement, maximising the opportunities to promote the work of the EDI team and enhance its brand and reputation.
* To serve as the ‘centre of excellence’ for EDI insight, drawing on external insights and internally generated information to offer a rich understanding of what our staff want to see from their health and care service.
* To work closely with all EDI leads in the organisation and champions, offering professional strategic direction setting and quality control of outputs.
* To implement the overarching EDI and Health Inequalities Strategy.
