Job Description
The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing and implementing sales opportunities and administration for Hospitality and General Ticketing. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that annual sales targets are met and client expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external communications
* Assist customers with inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
* Manage all mailing enquiries, digital and hard
* Provide product information and help resolve any issues or concerns
* Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively
* Manage and update the customer database within the CRM
* Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating sales meetings
* Process sales orders and maintain accurate records in the CRM
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
* Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management
* Gather feedback and analyse the success of events to improve future planning
* Help prepare sales proposals, presentations, and contracts
* Identify and qualify potential customers through research and networking
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
* Maximise profitability by assisting in the layout of hospitality areas
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
* Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
* Work closely with the Marketing Manager and team to support their efforts and initiatives
* Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement
Requirements
* Proven experience in a sales role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Exceptional organisational and administrative skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite
* A results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets
* Ability to embrace change, be reactive and proactive
Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including all racedays at Perth Racecourse
