About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to work in a vibrant and supportive special needs school in London. You will be instrumental in helping our students develop the skills they need for daily living and learning, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' individual needs.
2. Develop and implement personalized therapy programs.
3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
4. Provide training and guidance to school staff on best practices for supporting students' occupational therapy needs.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions and make necessary adjustments.
Desired Qualifications:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
* Experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Strong understanding of sensory integration, fine motor skills, and adaptive equipment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic school environment.
