Community Fundraising Manager, Charity, up to c£28-£29k + benefits
Fantastic opportunity for an articulate and well-organised Community Fundraising Manager with excellent customer/supporter care skills to join this national charity. The role can be based out of London or East Anglia offices, with significant opportunities for home working. Candidates will need to be accessible to one of these offices as required.
Working within a hugely supportive fundraising team, comprising around 20 members, you will report to the Head of Supporter Development and lead a team of 3 Community Fundraisers. You will take responsibility for mentoring and developing them to achieve their targets and professional goals.
Your responsibilities will include managing a varied, sustainable programme of fundraising activities that engages individuals, community groups, workplaces, students, and schools, including challenge events, supporter-led fundraising, and ‘in memory’ initiatives. You will ensure an excellent supporter experience is provided and income is maximised.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Providing high-quality line management and support to your direct reports.
2. Overseeing task management of office volunteers.
3. Ensuring accurate and efficient use of CRM system(s) and maintenance of records.
4. Supporting the Fundraising Administrator in developing and implementing new processes.
5. Assisting the Head of Marketing and Engagement team with planning community fundraising marketing and acquisition campaigns.
6. Supporting the Head of Supporter Development with setting the community fundraising budget.
7. Regularly monitoring and reporting on income and expenditure, including authorising expenditure and supplying reforecast data.
8. Developing and delivering the community fundraising strategy alongside the Head of Supporter Development.
9. Managing relationships with community fundraising third-party providers, such as challenge event operators, merchandise suppliers, or platform providers.
