Senior Indirect Buyer\nWashington\nSalary: Competitive DOE\n\nJackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a busy and growing start-up on the appointment of a Senior Indirect Buyer to join the Indirect Purchasing team.\nAt a very exciting time within the business, this is a fantastic fresh opportunity to join a growing and developing organisation with a huge scope to be part of the journey in getting the Indirect Procurement function established, processes implemented and relationship foundations built. Being a new and varied role within a continuously expanding team, there is also opportunity to work across a variety of different Indirect commodities and services as well as get involved in number of new projects.\nAs Senior Indirect Buyer, responsibilities will include:\n\n * Strategic and operational management multiple Indirect categories across Energy, CAPEX, Waste and suite of Professional Services\n\n * Sourcing and selection of global suppliers and vendors\n\n * Negotiation of contractual agreements, SLAs and KPIs\n\n * Building relationships and partnerships with selected suppliers and internal functions\n\nCandidates will ideally demonstrate the following skills and experience:\n\n * Strong knowledge of Indirect procurement categories\n\n * Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment\n\n * Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate, build relationships with internal and external stakeholders\n\n * Working knowledge of MRP systems, ideally SAP\n\n * Passion and drive to succeed, go the extra mile and think outside of the box in spotting opportunities and ability to deliver solutions with an improvement-driven mindset\n\n * CIPS Qualified advantageous\n\nThis role would suit a driven and motivated individual with a passion to make a difference and be part of an exciting journey of a forward-thinking and market leading business.\n\nFor more information and to apply, get in touch with Skye Madden – Managing Consultant at Jackson Hogg.\n\nM: +44 (phone number removed)
