We Are Explorers CIC provides essential programs and services to support the neurodiverse LGBTQ+ community. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to assist the CEO with administrative tasks, social media management, scheduling, organisational support, and financial administration.
Key Responsibilities
* Admin Support: Provide daily administrative assistance to the CEO, ensuring operations run smoothly and tasks are prioritised effectively.
* Social Media Management: Develop and implement social media strategies, create content, manage posts, and engage with the community across various platforms.
* Scheduling & Calendar Management: Coordinate appointments, meetings, and events, keeping the CEO’s schedule organised and efficient.
* Project Coordination: Help manage multiple projects, track progress, ensure deadlines are met, and support the execution of key initiatives.
* Communication: Serve as a point of contact between internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring clear and timely communication.
* Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and assist in documenting project outcomes.
* Financial Admin Support: Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and financial tracking, ensuring that financial records are accurate and up to date.
* General Office Support: Assist with general office tasks, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in project management, administration, or a similar role
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multitask and manage several priorities at once
* Experience with financial tracking, budgeting, and invoicing is essential
* Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook) and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello) is a plus
* A passion for supporting the neurodiverse LGBTQ+ community is highly valued

Additional Salary Information
Please note that this is a part-time position, and the annual salary is based on a pro-rata calculation.
The role requires a commitment of 7.5 hours per week, for 48 weeks. The position is paid at £25 per hour.
This is a freelance role, and you will be responsible for managing your own tax and National Insurance contributions.
