Donald Wilson Neurological Rehabilitation Centre is a purpose-built specialist (level 2) neurological rehabilitation unit, providing post-acutetreatment for patients with a variety of acquired neurological disorders.Working closely with our in-house multidisciplinary team, we pride ourselves on providing the best possible care and outcomes for our patients. We operate within a purpose built unit on the St Richards Hospital site. We have a very cohesive and inclusive Multidisciplinary team. Offering 12 beds in a purpose built facility with a variety of bedrooms ranging from one to three beds as well as out-patient services, Donald Wilson helps people with:- Stroke, Brain injury, Spinal Injury, Multiple Sclerosis and other Non-progressive acquired neurological conditions who benefit from intensive inpatient neurological rehabilitation. Main duties of the job Provide high quality evidence based clinical care to patients, in line with the Trust values and in accordance with professional regulations Work with others to protect and promote the health and wellbeing of those in your care, their families and carers, and the wider community To work in line with Trust policies, objectives, protocols and local guidelines To act as a role model communicating in line with Trust values, to patients, carers and the staff at all times.
