Financial Administrator Our Client is a leading specialist in the operation, maintenance, service and management of Waste to Energy plants throughout the UK & Europe They are looking to recruit a Financial Administrator to support their management team with financial control, management accounting, and administrative functions. You will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, reporting, credit control, procurement, and financial system management. Key Responsibilities Financial Control & Reporting • Manage financial operations using Xero & ApprovalMax. • Oversee sales invoicing, credit control, and account reconciliations. • Prepare and analyse monthly reports (Work-in-Progress (WIP), Profit & Loss (P&L), variance analysis). • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial strategy. • Ensure compliance with internal/external audits and financial regulations. Administration & Commercial Support • Handle office administration, ensuring proper documentation and information flow. • Support internal teams in embedding financial and commercial procedures. • Assist in producing financial insights for decision-making. Procurement & Purchasing • Manage purchasing processes, ensuring cost efficiency and supplier negotiations. • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships. Systems & Data Management • Optimize financial reporting through Excel (data checks, analysis, automation). • Ensure seamless operation of ApprovalMax and Xero. Marketing & Commercial Insights • Support website updates and provide financial analysis for marketing budgets. Skills & Competencies: • Strong financial management expertise, especially with Xero & ApprovalMax. • Advanced Excel skills for financial reporting. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Strong time management & organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and make strategic financial decisions. • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Experience Required: • Proven experience in financial control, management accounting, or commercial administration. • Strong background in credit control, financial reporting, and budgeting. • Experience in purchasing & procurement is a plus.
