Randstad is working with a tier one construction business in the search for a Senior Commercial Manager to deliver a 1 billion AED residential project in the heart of Dubai, UAE. This pivotal role requires an individual with a proven track record in managing complex contracts, ensuring financial performance, and leading teams to deliver outstanding results on large scale build projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead the commercial strategy for major construction projects.
Manage contract negotiations, risk assessments, and procurement processes.
Ensure adherence to financial targets, budgets, and timelines.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Oversee cost control, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Provide guidance to commercial teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirementsRequirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Commercial Manager or similar role with a Tier One construction company.
Middle East experience is essential, with a deep understanding of regional construction practices and regulations.
A strong background in working with reputable contracting companies on large-scale projects.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC)
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (RICS or equivalent accreditation is preferred).We are happy to accept applicants from candidates who are overseas with previous ME experience.
