Architectural Technician - Retail
Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working alongside an AJ100 company in their regional office in Surrey, seeking to appoint an Architectural Technician to their Retail team.
The Practice
The practice is one of Surrey's leading practices, prominent across the UK with offices in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and internationally. Established for over 100 years, they have developed a stellar reputation in various sectors. The practice boasts an enviable client portfolio, with projects completed and ongoing in areas such as Retail, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Residential, Student Living, and more.
Due to a continued increase in workload, particularly in the Retail sector, the practice is now seeking to appoint an Architectural Technician to the team.
The Role - ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN
The role on offer is for an Architectural Technician with approximately 2-5 years of industry experience, ideally with Retail sector experience. Given the fast-paced nature of the sector, Retail experience is essential to hit the ground running upon starting with the company.
The position will see you naturally moving towards a job running position, requiring an Architectural Technician who is happy being a focal point for clients and 3rd party contractors, along with potentially leading a small team in the future. There is plenty of scope for growth in this position, allowing the Architectural Technician to progress through the ranks in the office.
The practice predominantly uses AutoCAD and also utilizes Revit on occasion. Experience with AutoCAD is 100% essential for this role.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Architectural Technician with approx. 2-5 years of industry experience.
2. Possess an Architectural Technology degree, or a HNC/HND in a related field.
3. Retail sector experience is essential, with the added benefit of a varied background in other sectors.
4. Job running experience would be looked upon favorably but is not necessarily essential.
5. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD is essential, along with the added benefit of Revit experience.
What's On Offer?
In return, the Architectural Technician will be offered a salary in the region of £30,000-£35,000 per annum, alongside a competitive benefits package. Hybrid working will be discussed upon completion of probation.
