Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 DOE

The Vacancy
WHAT IS THE ROLE: This is a new role to provide commercial and financial support in the set up and ongoing management of 3rd party relationships, including development of internal and external Management information and controls. This requires close working relationships with key stakeholders to understand the aims and terms that are agreed, ensure that all required documentation and internal requirements are in place, and to monitor, measure and report on the ongoing performance of the relationships.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Development of standard financial and risk contractual terms to aid trading team negotiations.
* Working with internal stakeholders to ensure that existing and new relationships are fully understood, agreed and performing to plan, including:
o CEO to understand 3rd party strategy aims.
o Trading team negotiating terms with 3rd parties and ensuring compliance.
o Legal support to ensure financial terms are documented.
o IT to ensure MI development and control mechanisms.
o Warehouse & Finance teams.
* Develop the 3rd party supplier strategy summary document and maintain it with each new arrangement, including:
o Signed contracts.
o Agreed commercial terms.
o Internal and 3rd party owners.
o MI Suite for trading information – Sales / Stock etc.
o Profitability information including additional costs.
* Act as the key contact for risk mitigation and advice, including:
o 3rd party information (company accounts / credit rating / news).
o Company status, VAT and duties required status.
o Contract financial terms in conjunction with legal review.
* Management of 3rd party MI agenda and reporting, including supplier reconciliations and payment adherence:
o Profitability analysis weekly and monthly.
o Invoice v MI reconciliation and issues resolution.
o Automate reporting information for the board and other key stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
* +5 years ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA.
* Finance project development experience.
* 3rd party liaison and management experience.
* Excellent Excel and other MI skills.
