We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Operative (Electrical Bias) to join our team based in Lakeside North Harbour, Western Rd. The salary for this role starts from £26,000 (depending on experience) plus on-call allowance.
Requirements for the Role:
1. Qualifications: At least one of the below:
1. NVQ Level 2 or higher BTEC/City & Guilds or equivalent.
2. Formal apprenticeship or craft trained equivalent.
2. Additional Requirements:
1. Electrical Bias.
2. Driving licence is essential.
3. Must be comfortable using technological devices to log jobs.
4. On-Call availability.
5. Desirable to have industry experience.
6. Ability to work alone and/or as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Maintenance Operative (Electrical Bias).
1. Ensure compliance with all NHSPS Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies, relevant NHSPS Technical Guidance, Process and Procedures, Statutory Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice, and any applicable aspects of HTMs.
2. Deliver Scheduled, Reactive and Remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner (CAFM), helpdesk or Technical Services Supervisor, ensuring that operational standards are always maintained.
3. Support the work included in minor works management activities.
4. Undertake routine repairs or minor works including joinery, painting and decoration, general building works, ground works or general plumbing.
5. Maintain effective site logbooks at all NHS premises where required, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Support the Projects/Construction team and Team Leader in delivering minor capital works to NHS premises.
7. Complete suitable risk assessments prior to undertaking works and undertake works as per instructions within any relevant permit or work plan.
8. This role will also include other operative tasks such as basic fabric, electrical and general operative tasks.
