We are delighted to announce that we have a vacancy for a Clinical Educator to join Ward 83 at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our nursing team.
Are you a Registered Paediatric Nurse with evidence of teaching, have post-registration experience, and a portfolio of evidence demonstrating achievements in practice/education?
The post holder will be able to work independently and will provide high-quality educational support to our registered and non-registered workforce, including our new starters.
You will be committed to improving the quality of care and patient experience. The role is challenging and interesting with the opportunity to expand and develop your own knowledge and skills within a supportive team.
You will be responsible for the upkeep of mandatory training within the ward, ensuring that the staff have the clinical skills they need to ensure patient safety.
You will support the staff with aspects of continuous professional development and have an oversight of staff appraisals and revalidations.
You will support staff caring for children with complex medical conditions who require long-term ventilation and non-invasive ventilation.
You will work closely alongside the ward manager to assist in quality improvement initiatives.
