Job Description: Security Professional at His Majesty’s Court & Tribunal Service
A key member of the Operational team responsible for managing a team of Security Officers to ensure the highest level of security and safety of both customer buildings and personnel.
We are recruiting a Security Professional based on site at His Majesty’s Court & Tribunal Service building. No experience is required as full training is provided, just a positive customer service approach to everything you do.
You will effectively supervise on a day-to-day basis the operation of the security team, ensuring that an exceptional end-to-end service is provided as per contract requirements. You will ensure that all assigned tasks are completed professionally and timely, and all relevant legislation is adhered to. Your day will involve delivering unrivalled customer service in meeting and greeting all Court users within a unique environment, while monitoring and securing the building. You will work Monday to Friday, with set hours per week, and flexible or part-time hours if required. No weekend or night work is involved, but overtime may be offered on Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank holidays. Weekend overtime will be paid at 1.5x for Saturdays and 2x for Sundays, with a rate of 1.5x for weekday overtime outside normal court hours.
* Guaranteed xx hours per week
* £1 per hour attendance allowance

Main Duties:
* Supervising the security team, providing first-line manned guarding to the contract
* Ensuring all duties are carried out honestly, ethically, and professionally
* Providing exceptional service to staff and visitors
* Being a point of contact for emergencies
* Operating and controlling the CCTV system
* Conducting regular patrols of the site
* Providing duty manager cover on weekends on rotation
* Managing team rotas and using Timegate systems
* Ensuring compliance with legislation such as H&S, SIA Licensing, and Risk Assessments
Requirements:
* SIA License (Door Supervision) - essential
* Understanding of a Manned Guarding environment
