Job Description
A Credit Controller's responsibilities:
* Managing the timely collection of all debts and customer payments
* Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are cleared for payment
* Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
* Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
* Processing and reconciliation of invoices
* Setting up of terms and conditions of credit
* Ensuring all transactions are compliant with the company's policies
* Preparing monthly financial statements
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and debt collection
* Excellent attention to detail with an analytical mindset
* Superb communication and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software programs
