As an SEN Class Teacher, you will deliver engaging and tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of your students. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of students with SEN. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage learning and well-being. Assess and monitor student progress, implementing strategies to promote achievement. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals. Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs). Promote positive behaviour management and student engagement. Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies to ensure the welfare of all students. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to teaching. Previous experience in SEN education is desirable but not essential. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
